My husband (aka: The Mr.) - we married November, 1997
These two "monsters": our son (Young Mr.) born August, 1993 and our daughter (Young Miss) born February, 2004
Yes, there's 10 1/2 years between them but they are the best of friends (I worry when their heads are put together and there's giggling...)
A little about me:
*I work full time for an ag lending company and part time at our local library.
*I grew up on a farm and didn't live in town until I married my husband. Someday I hope to live in the country again.
*I enjoy reading (I usually have a couple of books going at once, send me your reading suggestions - please).
*My hobbies include: scrapbooking, crocheting, knitting and sewing.
*I am an aspiring photographer who is slowly building my portfolio. I use a Nikon D5300 and LOVE it! You can check it out here: Photos by Jen
*I am a die hard Chicago Cubs fan. (My motto, like all Cubs fans - wait 'til next year)
*My favorite color is royal blue (pink is a close second!).
*I love music! (not a big fan of rap and blues, but...I'm willing to try to listen if it's recommended, which feel free to send me what you think I should be listening to)
*I am NOT a good housekeeper or cook, not that I don't try, but... (ask my family, they will attest to this fact!)
*My favorite candy bars are Milky Way and Snickers
*My dream vacation would be sitting on a beach for a LONG time with an endless supply of fruity umbrella drinks and a stack of good books.
