Coffee Date

I haven't had a "coffee date" with you in a while.

If we were having coffee:

*I would ask how you are!

*I would tell you I'm sad baseball is over for the year, but excited that the Astros won the World Series.

*I would tell you I am enjoying my photo shoots and editing.

*I would ask you for a joke. (Go ahead!)

*I would whine that our fall wasn't very pretty around here.

*I would tell you I think I have Disney detoxed from our trip (3 weeks ago) but wish I was back there already.

*I would tell you I am kind of excited that the Christmas music stations are firing up.

If we were having a "coffee date", I would tell you....

*It's baseball season! I'm wearing lots of blue these days.

*That my 1500th blog post is coming VERY soon!

*When I don't have a cup of coffee in the morning, I may not be a nice person....  ;) Cheers!

*My husband is the most amazing man! He understands my baseball fandom and supports it.

*Good books are an awesome friend.

*I love the authors and publishers who have been contacting me about reading and reviewing books. I am working on preparing my reviews. Stay tuned...

*I haven't done much scrapbooking lately and I miss it. I know I need to set aside time for it and just do it.

*I am trying to catch up with my fellow bloggers. I'm sorry I've been gone from your blog commenting.

*I am enjoying my Twitter feed these days - lots of books, baseball and Disney. All these things make me happy! (I am cubsfan3410 on Twitter)

*I feel frustrated with talking to people about photography pricing and availability then find they went with someone else. I just hope you would tell me you went with someone else. It's fine, just let me know.

*I hope the May flowers are plentiful. We have had plenty of April showers!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you survived Monday and that the rest of the week is looking good...

I would tell you I can't believe February is over! This year is flying by...

I would tell you I am glad The Voice is back on! I "heart" Adam! Blake cracks me up. I love Gwen's sass. And Alysha - what an amazing talent!

I would tell you I am SO excited baseball is back! I have entered so many contests to win Cubs Opening Day tickets. (I won't win, but....if I don't enter, I can't have a chance of winning!) I know I am going to one game this season and we will see if any others open up!

I would tell you that the weather has been crazily amazing this "winter". Northern Illinois got no measurable snow in January or February. That doesn't mean we are out of the winter danger zone but it's been pretty great not to scrape windows!!!

I would tell you that teenage angst and drama is a REAL thing! I can't tell you how many days in the past week I have gotten to wear the "Worst Mom of the Day" sash and crown. I wear it proudly but some days I wish I didn't have it so often.

I would ask you for book recommendations. I have an endless to read list but am always looking for more to add to it.
