I am asking for your help to spread the word.

WILW

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!!
I know I've been MIA on the What I'm Loving Wednesday link-up the past few weeks. So this week I am linking up with Jodi and Rachel

This week, I'm loving:
**Today (5/27) is
 #strongerthanMS
I hope you have your orange on.

**Library books (I started The Husband's Secret last night)

My new dress (thanks to my sister for her cast off) and that it's warm enough to wear skirts and dresses again.

**That my Mr. This is his Neon Boneyard shirt that he covered certain letters on to make a "new" message and proceeded to come out of the house that way. The man cracks me up!

**This is funny...

**We have been without a kitchen sink for 2 days. Here's hoping it's fixed by the time I get home today.

**It's scrapbook group night at the library tonight. I am looking forward to a little creative time.

**My sock I'm knitting is starting to look like a sock.

What are YOU loving this week?

Vacation 2015 - Day 3

Hello again! Welcome to our continuing adventures on our vacation to Las Vegas and several National Parks.

Day 3 - May 4 (it's a picture heavy post!)

We started our day by driving out to Red Rock Canyon State Park.
It is a beautiful park!

The thing we like about this park is you can climb on and hike to whatever you like.

This guy was quick and kind of cute...

Checking out the scenery:

We decided to head to Red Rock Resort for the buffet lunch (which was very tasty and VERY reasonable!). The boys played the slots for a while; Little Miss went to the "kids center" for a while (and had a blast) and I played a little then just wandered around.  I think I want to stay here sometime...

We headed back into Vegas for an evening on the Strip.

Wynn Hotel:

Luxor:

and Paris:

Eiffel Tower "us-ies"

Vacation 2015 - Day 2

And continuing on with our vacation adventures....

(You can read about Day 1 HERE-Day 1)

We got up early and headed to Death Valley National Park. (It was about 2 1/2 hours)  I, myself, went into this stop figuring we were going to see a salt flat, tumbleweeds and maybe a bleached out cow skull. I could not have been more wrong! It was beautiful and I LOVED it!!!  We only got to see about the south 1/3 of the park - it is HUGE!!!!!

Oh - and here's a lesson we learned....go with a FULL tank of gas! There are very few gas stations when you get close to Death Valley and...they are in CALIFORNIA (aka: HIGH gas prices). We had to put a little in before heading back to Vegas - to the tune of $5.04/gallon. (GULP!)

Anyway, I digress....  I give you - Death Valley

We drove the "Artist's Palette" drive - WOW! The colors and rocks were amazing! (Pictures do it no justice)

"More pictures?!"

We actually had a good picture taken of the two of us.  There is a whole series of pictures that Young Mr. took.... my mom will laugh when she sees them.  (Mom - think my graduation pictures that Phil took.)

Yes, that says 103F! It was like a blast furnace...

We stopped at Badwaters - the lowest point and a giant salt flat.

My salt flat selfie

Back seat sillies!

Driving back toward Las Vegas there were lots of cactus, Joshua trees, palm trees and this is one of the dust devils we saw.

She wasn't tired....

We grabbed a quick, late lunch and went back to our hotel to lay down for a while.
We all went to MGM to see KA - a Cirque du Soleil show - it was amazing! Little Miss sat on the edge of her seat through most of it.

That was the end of day 2!  Stay tuned...
