Winter found us in northern Illinois. Now I will admit we have been very spoiled this winter (temps in the 40s and no real snow until last week)
Last Thursday we had about 3 inches of blowing snow. It was rough for a few hours but nothing terrible. It has been cold since then...
Today is BRUTALLY cold! And with a nice Canadian wind to go with it - it's wintery refreshing. The forecast for tomorrow calls for single digit temps with 4 - 9 inches of snow, depending on what the temps do and where you are. So we shall see what Mother Nature has in store for us!
Dear Mother Nature,
If you must send the snow, please make it enough for a snow day! This snow that is enough to slow everyone down a little and make it so I have to clean off my car, is annoying. Make it count if we must get it!
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Wishing for a Snow Day

I decided to try to keep up with this challenge this year. Plus, it jumpstarted my scrapbooking for the year and got me doing this layout. ...

I hope you all had a nice weekend! Saturday, I worked at the library. We got about 2 more inches of snow. Winter can move along, now! ...

Happy Friday! I'm making some headway on these adventures this year. Yesterday, I completed #23-Try to be a movie/TV extra ...
I hate when it's nasty and you think there ought to be a snow delay/day... and it doesn't work out. This morning we had 60 mph winds. I wanted a delay so bad!
ReplyDeleteI hear you! We've been lucky here in NE Ohio to get enough to sled on but unfortunately they hardly ever call snow days in my little town. My kids were all jealous of the neighboring cities because they all had snow days and we didn't. Well, very rarely. I hope you have a nice weekend my friend!
