Hi!! 1. What scrap challenge sites or blogs do you frequent? Hmmm...I don't go to any particular "challenge" blogs but many of the manufacturers blogs I visit daily DO challenges.
ReplyDelete2. What scrap project and tutorial sites do you frequent? My favorite blog for card-making inspiration is www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/ (Kristina Werner). My favorite scrapbooking inspiration is actually from the manufacturers blogs of paper lines I love: October Afternoon, My Mind's Eye, Crate Paper, Cosmo Cricket, American Crafts, Studio Calico. They all have AMAZING projects DAILY. Never disappoints. I also really love Elise Blaha's blog and Lisa Dickinson (www.eliseblaha.typepad.com and lisadickinson.typepad.com). If I find a scrapper who really speaks to me...I cross my fingers and hope they have a blog and they usually do! One person I found recently in the 2Peas gallery was Kinsey Wilson. I've read her blog from beginning to end and I'm thinking of reading it again! She is awesome!!! I also found Karen Grunberg's blog recently and did the same thing. (You can Google both of them.)
3. What are your favorite embellishments? Anything cut on my Silhouette Cameo is what I use most lately. I also love tags of any kind, and just tiny little bits of things I pick up at the scrapbook store.

between my endless blog roll, two peas, and pinterest, i'm never short on techniques!

super into washi tape right now, but love self-adhesive pearls, twine, lace, ribbon in general, definitely my cameo, cardstock stickers + pop dots = heaven, ok... the list just goes on and on! i love LOTS of little things...

1 & 2. I like Creating Keepsakes blog, Page Maps, and A Bit of This. A Bit of That blog. There are a lot of good ideas on each of those, sketches and blog hops with links to other creative people.
ReplyDelete3. I use a lot of my old standbys of brads and buttons but lately I've used a lot of washi tape.
Page Maps is great for sketches, but other than that, I don't frequent many blogs for those reasons. Sorry!

i love to enter the challenges from various manufacturers like mme or jillibean- these challenges really help my mojo- BUT i really don't follow any other challenge blogs.

ReplyDeleteI haven't really entered any challenges, this was one of my goals for this year....fail.
1. I visit all the blogs listed in our 2 peas blog forum post Mon-Fri; 2. Youtube-2 peas, Shimelle, KraftinKate, lots and lots of them, not just hauls 3. I'm using buttons more than ever and twine of all sorts, thickers of course.
