I LOVED this book! It was not at all what I expected it would be but I enjoyed every single page. Her descriptions and stories are so full of life - I was taken there! Let me tell you, the desire to go to Italy is even stronger now! :) I have not seen the movie yet but now I can (I wanted to read first). I hope if you haven't read this - you do - it is a wonderful memoir of their renovation and time in Tuscany.

ReplyDeleteOh, I love book recommendations!!! Thanks for doing this....must check it out....I fell in love with Tuscany ever since I watched "Much Ado about Nothing"....where it was filmed, you can almost feel the warmth of the sun on your face!

ReplyDeleteI have been to Tuscany twice and it is beautiful, but just not my style... I like "rough" nature better than all these "sweet" Tuscan trees. But apart from nature... the wine and the food are GREAT! You should definitely plan a holiday there someday
